EVADING PAYMENT OF FARE
RAILWAY TRAVELLER FINED.
By Teleerauh-Press Association. Taumarunui, August 12. A man, who pleaded guilty to a charge of evading payment for a railway ticket between Taumnrunui and OhaJume, was to-day fined £i and costs. Tho accused slept from here to Ohnkune, whoro he purchased a ticket to Marion. When challenged by the guard, the • accused first denied his offence and then paid tho faro and gave a wrong name.
