MR.CRAIGIE ASKED TO STAND AGAIN FOR TLUARU. Timaru, August 12. A representative deputation waited on Mr. Craigie, SI.P., whoso retirement has been rumoured, with the request that ho should allow himself to be nominated nt next election. The speakers eulogised the great services of Mr.. Oraigie, and the necessity of having experienced men in the next Parliament to solve the «reat problems. Mr. Craigie spoko ot tho valuable work done by the National Government, although it might have made mistakes. He promised to consider tho request and give a reply later. Ho assured those preseut that if he consented to be nominated ho would be found with the progressive group ot members. ,
