« PAY AND ALLOWANCES. Defence headquarters has laid down a scale of pny and allowances for all qualified medical practitioners, officers of the ! Now Zealand Medical Corps, who l>av j been retained for duty in New Zealand durinsr demobilisation. The pay ranges from ,£21)5 a year for an unmarried 2nd lieutenant to JC7SO a year for_ an unmarried colonel. with a professional allowance of £183 ss. a year in all ctses. j An addition of from ,£45 to ;C55 a year ) is mado to the pay in tho casn of married officers.
