CORONER'S VERDICT.

The evidence showed tlmt everything connected with the tournament hud "Wan properly conducted, and that the blow itself waß not sufficient to liavo caused death, which had resulted from concussion as the result of deceased's head striking the padded floor. The coroner's verdict was that deceased died from' concussion of the brain, due to a fall, the result of a blow dealt by James Aloysius Patrick M'Donald in n boxing contest, odding tha.t the contest had ap-pa-rentl'v been of the most friendly c'harncler. curried out in a fair and honourable manner, and that he considered no blame whatever, could ly> attributed to .\!'Donal(i. It seemed to bo a sheer case of misfortune.
