It is estimated that arrange' mollis will have to be made to supply the ribbon in connection with the genoral war medal to alwut ten million soldiers. As in the case of the 1911 Star ribbon, which was also registered under the Patents and Designs Act, tho new ribl>on will Ik> released for sale as 6oon as sufficient quantities arc obtained, and every effort is to be made to issue it as quickly as possible to those who hove earned it. Tho aim of the War Office, according to Mr. AVinston Churchill, will ho to "get the ribbon out so that it may be worn by our soldiers before the people have almost forgotten that a war lias been on."
