Advices from Tokio state that Viscount Ucliida, promoter of a plan to lay a new cable' from the United States to Japan, will shortly leave for tho United States to consummate the undertaking. It that ho will go to England to negotiate tho manufacture of tho cable.-Aus.-N.Z, Cable Assn.
