COMPANIES MAKE AN OFFER. The •conference between representatives of the Federation of Labour and tiio cual mine owners advanced a stage farther on Saturday. Up till that time, the committee which has been considering details with a view of arriving at a now agreement had been sitting,, but 011 Saturday afternoon 'all the delegates were summoned to meet in full conference. The conference resumed in committee, however. The purpose of the meeting was to submit to the representatives of the miners an offer from the employers far a new agreement. Tho miners' representatives took time to'consider their decision.
