INTERNATIONAL TRADE UNIONS
ATTITUDE TO WORLD'S CONGRESS. Amsterdam, August S. Tho International Trades Union Congress has concluded. A motion was carried that tho International Union refuse to participate in the World Labour Conference at Washington in October, to bo held in aceordanco with tho Labour charter of tho Peace Treaty, unless trado union representatives of all countries .ire admitted without exception and recognised as Labour representatives.
Other motions carried urged the early termination of the blockade against Russia aud Hungary, and that an investigation be mado i of tho trade union mow ment in Russia.
Further motions favoured socialisation as a means of production, and ono declared that the Leaguo of Nations should have legislative as well as judicial power.
