FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

MEETING OF COMMITTEE.' The Management* Committee of the Wellington Football Association met last evening at the Y.M.C.A, Mr. 11. F. Gpdbor presiding. A transfer was granted to .T. O'Leury from Aliirist Senior to Brooklyn Uuited. Mr. D. 11. It was decided to accede to tho request, and to select tho Wellington team after Saturday's game. The Rugby League asked the association for a curtain-raiser to be played at the Basin Reserve on Saturday, August 23, the date the League playi. Canterbury.
