Ho struck his head heavily on tho floor as he went down, and was removed to the hospital unconscious. He died this mornini. His home wns at Pairlic. . , The bout was keenly fought. Both men wero very tired towards the finish. In tho last round, MTonald just managed to Ret in a swinging blow to Keay's jaw, mid Keay fell. THE INQUEST. An inquest on the body of Keny opened to-ni"lit. Evidence showed that in tho sixth round of the bout with ll'Donald deceased was knocked down by a blow on the "point." He fell on his back, mid the. back of his head struck the floor. Dr. Harrison said the bout wns remarkably clean on both sides. When Kcav was injured both men were very tired, and in witness's opinion incapable of delivering a knock-out blow, lue fall could have been produced as easily by a push as by a blow. Incensed evidently suffered from concussion and cerebral irritation. Tho inquest, was adjourned sine die to enable a post-mortem examination to bo made.
