INDIAN PEACE PAGEANT IN LONDON
A STRIKING SPECTACLE. N (Rec-. August o, 10.45 p.m.) London, August 4. The procession and review of Lne Indian troops, who were too late to participate in the ■ peace celebrations, was a striking and picturesque pageant. The spectators at Buckingham Palace included the Sudanese chiefs.
The King eulogised the Indians' _ services in the field and thanked the Indian princes and peonies for their noble response to the Empire's dctenco.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
