Davios, secretary to the National Foreign Trade Council, has announced that the large American busihps? interests avo contemplating tne establishment of a competitive system of communication unless the Pacific, cables' and the wireless service nre shortly improved. Mr. Davies added that the American commercial houses were sufferin*; serious losses due to tho delays in transmission of business messages to tho Far East,—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
