STRIKES ON A SAXHHA'Niv. By ToleirraDh-Prcss Association. Waitara, August 1. The Northern Company's sU-amer Arapawa, bound to Onehunga with a cargo from Wnnganui and Waitara, on leaving Waitara yesterday struck on a sandbank near the bar and could not bo moved during (lie; early morning tide. A lino parted and the vessel drifted across the river entrance, lodging just northward of the wall. The propeller became usoless.
