Tito senaafcioiml mwdor of .Ardasjeff, a prominent Bolshevist, nttributcd to the supporters of the old Russian regime, led to the arrest of (en suspects, including a Russian general and a colonel, and several womon'. The. arrested person!; confessed that they liad conveyed Ardasjeff to a villa outsido Stockholm, where they eourt-ronrtialled him. An intercepted wireless message from Moscow reveals that Trotsky, in addressing the Soviets on July 29, admitted that the position in South Russia was critical. FRENCH MISSION IN THE UKRAINE PETLURA'S TROOPS PURSUING THE BOLSHEVISTS. London, July 20. A French military mission has arrived at Ukrainian headquarters. It will inquire into tho situation, and ascertain the wishes of the people, Petlura's troops captured the railway junction at Wapniarka, thus making contact with tho irregulars under Hetman Volynez, whom the Bolshevists cut off. The withdrawal of British troops from the Russian Armenian Republic has been followed by serious fighting between the Armenians and the Tartars and Kurds. POLISH PEACE TERMS TREATY PRESENTED TO THE ASSEMBLY. London, July 29. ■ M. Padorewski has presented tho Peace Treaty for ratification by tho committee oi' the Sejiu (Assembly). He recommended ratification, and said tho Treaty should bring happiness to Poland—Renter.
