TURKS OPPOSE BRITISH MISSION
LIBERATION OF DEPORTEES REFUSED. Athens, July 28. Admiral Fitzmaurice sent a mission to Denizli, under Captain Atkinson, to demand the return of women aud children doported from Aidin. The Turks arrested the mission, but released the members after two days, ordering them to return to Smyrna, and refusing to liberate the deportees.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
