BOXING
HEENEY V. IRELAND TO-NIGHT. The Town Hall is expected to present an animated scene to-night by the time appointed for the opening of the boxing tournament promoted by the local assoeiation. Up to Saturday evening practically every seat in the reserved portion of the Town Hall bad been reserved, so that an overflow house is anticipated. The work of eaoh of the principals since his arrival in town '. has been watched with a deal of interest, and on each side confidence is expressed as to the ability to -win. The training work of Heeney particularly has attracted much attention, aa ho had not p-evioualy been seen hare. His free, double-handed style nßain6t local exponents, pitted against him has won him many friends; in fact, in both camps there are enthusiasts who cannot see their lespectivo fancios defeated. Doors will open at 7.30. holders of fa. reserved seats should be careful to note that except for sections "M" and "N,''.which are.on the {jrouud floou, entrance is by tile main door upstairs.
