TO-DAY'S ATTRACTIONS. ; ' This afternoon, at Athletic Park, quite a big attraction has been arranged in tho meeting of tho Athletic and University fifteens. • Athletic have an excellent record this 6eason, whilo University' in thoir more recent matches have shown vastly improved form, and many incline to tho. opinion that to-day they will vanquish tile leaders in the competition. Much interest is beincr taken in tho match. Oriental and Petone meet at J-'e. tone, Sehvyn and Wellington will Ivy conclusions at Hutt, and Poneko have a bye. Should University succeed: in defeating Athletic, the championship competition will be in a decidedly interesting position. The Potono lower-grade teams for today aw as follow:— Fourth-class: Proebstel, Nankivell, M'Jlillan, Bond, Hunter, Clemens, Smith, Ashman, Rodger, Inglis, Thompson, Ryan, Eiffe, AVnrren, Love. Fifth-class: Wilson. Kenwood, Pawson, Usmar, Gnrdiiwr, ' Warden, Jowett, l/ocke, Nankivell, Bradley, Gobls, Lawrio, Clarke, Childs, Parrant. Sixth-class: Asplet, Brouph, Kerr,Pawson, Love, Hope, Rodker, Watt, Higgins, Goble, Smith, Thompson, Wilson, Vjj]as, King. In order to permit members of tho Athletic team to see the -big match, the fifth class fixture, Athletic v. Wellington College A, will tako place on the College ground at 1.30, instead of 3 o'clock.
