The annual meeting of tho Kiritoki Diary Company was hold this week, Mr. J. H. Lory, chairman of directors, presiding. It was mentioned that the past vear iiad been a very successful one, 2s. per 11). having been obtained for Imtter-fat, the highest in tho district, and tho cheese had been first-griido all through. Messrs. Husband, Ifeedo, and Dell woto elected directors. Tho meeting decided against the Wellington cool storage scheme. Mr. Lory has been reelected chairman of directors. Tho Dannovirko Borougli Council has entered into preliminary negotiations for the acquisition of tho local gasworks. The installation of an electric light power Bc'hwuo is also under consideration. All Efficiency league Iws been formed at Ormondvillo. of which Mr. Kibblewhite has been appointed secretary, Miss Webb treasurer, and Mr. Herman Foster organiser.
