The WF.O.A., Ltd., Dannevirke, report on the undermentioned sales, held during the past -week, aa follow:-At To Kehunga, on July 23, wo held a very successful clearing sale of dairy fitcck, etc., on account Mr. A. Keith. The demand for best quality early calving cows was keen, several of which Eold at fr6m £20 to £23 155.; late carvers from £13 upwards, the lino of 39 head averaging well over £18 Tier head. Springing heifers, til; Weaner. hciferß, £2 10s.; do. bulla £o; milk" cart, £17 55.; milk cans, ? 2 Ua. to £2 17s.- At Eua Eoa, on July 24. we sold Mr. A. M. YarrallV.dairy .herd, dry Btock, etc. Included in this nerd ■wero a. few exceptionally nice quality Ayrshirecross cows. These commanded good competition, making up to t24 per head, but there waß no demand for aged late calvers, a fair number of which sold at £7 to £11. The herd averaged £15 10a. per head, which, under the circumstances, must be considered highly satisfactory. Two-year heifer, in calf (small), £0 10s.; milk cart,'£l6; alack hay. £15 55.; milk cans, £3 16a. At Dannevirko, on July to, to a. rood attendance of buyers we oflered a good entry of sheep (chiefly hoggeto) and a few pens of cattle. The demand for sheep was good, and we cleared our total entry at good prices throughout. In cattle some few pens ot rough sorts were not in demand.
