SOUTHERN MARKETS
By Telegraph—Press AsBooi&tlon. Christchurch, July 29. The markets have opened very quiet this week, there being but a very limited business passing on any line. J. he oats market is dull, but as a rule at this season it brightens a little at the beginning of the month, and may show-some improvement next week. Thare are practically no changes to note in any line of grain, seeds, or produce. The potato market is quiet, there being but a few offering from growers.
