At the Whea't Commission, evidence : . was submitted indicating that' three firms received sums aggregating .£237,000 as commission on the sale of,wheat. It was pointed 'rat that this amount was the gross total, and that large' deductions were necessary; Sydney, July 29. At the Wheat Commission the former manager of the State Bakery gave evidence that other millers had charged ss. for wheat for export as against Georgeson's 4s. 4Jd., enabling him to sell Hour to the East "at a great prot, approximating from .£60,000 to .£65,000 in the course of a year.—Press Assn.
