SCENE IN COURT
COUNSEL AND CLIENT LEAVE. By'Telegraph-Press Association. Hamilton, July 29. There was' a scene in the Magistrate's Court. Mr. Gillies was asking a client certain questions, when the Magistrate (Mr. Burton) said he could not allow leading questions. Mr. Gillies put the questions in another way, but the Magistrate still held tint the, evidence was inadmissible. Mr. Gillies: "Very well; I will leave the Court." Hurriedly he left, his client following him. The Magistrate said lie did not core lo give judgment in the a'bsonce of the parties, and adjourned the case. Upon resuming Mr. Gillies did not appear. The Magistrate adjourned the Court for half tin hour, and summoned Mr. Gillies to appear. Ujwn resuming again Mr. Gillies was still absent. The Magistrate then adjourned the case until August 19, on which dnte Mr. Gillies has been summoned to appear. ■'
