RACE RIOTS IN AMERICA
4 OUTBREAK IN CHICAGO. (Rec. July 28, 8.10 p.m.) New York, July 2G. Race rioting lias broken oat in Chicago. Two negroes were killed, and fifty persons, whites and. blacks, wero injured. The rioters used clubs, knives, and levolvers. All the city's available police reserves were called out before tho riots were quelled. Some of tho whites' wounds will probably prove fatal.—Aus.-N.Z.
