CHARITABLE AID
TENDENCY TO INCREASE. The Charitable Aid Committee of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board reported to the meeting of the hoard yesterday that the tendency of charitable aid this year was towards n very considerable increase, both in the number of beneficiaries and the extent ol assistance afforded in individual cases. ■ The following table was submitted showing the comparative volume of relief for tho monthly period ended June 24:Ontdoor. 1919-20. 1918-19. 1917-18.
