STRIKERS FINED

In the Magistrate's Court twelve spinners at the Roslyn Woollen Mills were charged with a breach of the Conciliation and Arbitration Act, in that they became parties to a slrike on March 31. ]t wns stated for the prosecution that the strike lasted eight days, and the non-production of yarn during that time resulted in the loss of .£3OOO ot the employers. It was stated that harmonious relations now prevailed. Each defendant was fined .£2.
