LONDON WOOL SALES
Messrs. Levin and 00., Ltd.. report that their cable messago dated London, July. 15, received on July 22, reads as followii:— "As compared with June dosing rates tho preßent saJos opened about five per cent, lower for all descriptions." The New Zealand Loan and Jlereantilo Agency Company, Limited, have received tho following cablegram from their London house under date July 15:— Wool sales opened. Crossbred and merino 5 per . cent., except for inferior, faulty merino 6 per cent, to 10 per cent. lower than on July 5. ' . The Bank of Jtew Zoaland has received the following cablegram from its London office under date July 15:—"Wool sales have opened with prices fivo per cent, lower as compared with June series. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London ofilce under date of July 14:—"Wool sales resumed , with fair selection, including a good deal of burry wools'. Competition was fair as compared with last sales. Closing rates average to good merinos were 5 per cent, che&per, inferior merinos 7i per cent, cheaper, -and crossbreds par to 5 per cent. ' cheaper.". ■
