An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders In the Seiv Zealand Insurance Company waß held at the company's hoad office for the purpose of further dealing with resolution? in regard to the subdivision of the company's shares. Spccial resolutions passed, fit a meeting of shareholders held on July 4 were con* firmea. The chairman moved: That a call of 2s. a. share, payable on August 27, bo made, and that tho sum of £150,000, part of the reserve fund of the company, J)6 distributed pro rota among shareholders by way of bonus, snch bonus to be applied to the payment of tho call." He stated that with the payment of this call the £1 shares would be paid up to 10s. The motion was carried unanimously. The chalrmaa stated that next month a dividend would bo' paid upon the shares as subdivided, and that all tho meetings required in connection with the subdivision liad now been held. N.Z.
