NOTED AIRMAN COMING TO AUSTRALIA
TO DEVELOP CIVILIAN PLYING. (Rec. July 22, 5.5 p.m.) London, July 21. Pickles, the aviator, is returning to Australia by tho Orsova on Friday, taking the most recent model of the Avro type of machine to Sydney. Ho intends to display thfij latest flying developments, including a machine flying at 158 miles per hour. Pickles believes that civilian flying has not been greatly advanced by tl'io war models. He intends to apply his knowledge to tho designing, of machines suitable to Australia's special con-ditions.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
