MINERS TRAPPED BY FIRE
ALL RESCUED EXCEPT SIX. (Rec. July 20. 5.5 p.m.) New York, July 19. An explosion destroyed the Tnmvell coal mine at KicfieM, in West Virginia A firo followed the explosion, and many miners were trapped, but most of (hem were rescued. The death roll, which at first was reported to be 220, is now stated to be six.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
