N.Z.E.F. OFFICERS
$—_ ABSORPTION INTO HOME ARMY. The following interim General Order deals with the conditions under which officers of the N.Z.E.E. may bo absorbed into the-Territorial Army:— (a) All officers of the N.Z.S.C. (excepting those holding temporary appointments as O.C. districts), R.N.Z.A., and N.Z.P.S. in New Zealand, holding temporary or honorary or N.Z.E.F. rank above that of captain, will relinquish same and be granted the temporary or honorary rank .of captain respectively, with effect from Aupust 1,1919. (b) All . officers of N.Z.S'.C. (excepting those holding temporary appointment as O.C. districts), K.N.Z.A., and N.Z.I'.S., holding temporary, honorary, or N.Z.E.F. rank in New Zealand, above that of lieutenant, will relinquish same from the date of commencement of tlio qualifying course mentioned above, and >ba granted the temporary or honorary rank of lieutenant, with_ effect from that date. The question of confirmation of these ranks will bo dealt with at the termination of the qualifying course of instruction.
