GERMAN POLICY

ACCORDING TO COUNT BERNSTORFF "DIRECTED TO THE SIDE OF AMERICA" By Telouraph-l'ress ABsooiation-Coryrlght Berlin, July 13. Count Berustorff, writing in tho "Demokratischo Deutschland" ("Democratic Germany"), advocates the revision of tho Peace Treaty by the League of Nations. Germany's foreign policy, ho says, must be constantly directed towards tho building up of the League, in tho hope that tho new ivorld order will establish n world economy (hat, extending ucyond frontiers, will bind the peoples together. German policy would bo directed to the side of America, where tho idea of a peaceful League is a living reality. America alono would be able to provide tho necessary financial means to invigorate such a political economy. Germans must convince America, says tho writer, that tho old militaristic Germany is buried, and that the new Germany does not intend to play the role of an apostle of socialistic world revolution. Without America's help it would be almost impossible, to restore German economy.— Aun.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
