ESCAPE OF A PRISONER
Lawrence John Malonoy, a prisoner undergoing a term of detention for breaking and entering, escaped from custody yesterday afternoon. It appears Mint Maloney was recently takon from tlie Terrace Gaol to the Public Hospital to bo treated for somo ailment, 110 was to liavo been taken back to gaol yesterday, but by some means he effected an escape. Tlio police describe him as a man about thirty-fivo years of age, sft. 7in. in height, clean shaven, and dressed iu a shabby brown suit.
