Hy Tclcirraph.—TreHS Association. Ashburton, July 11. John Brankin, a well-known trainer and driver of Irotting horses, was found dead on the Wakainii .Tioiul near his residence early this morning. He left Ashburton to drive home about 11 o'clock last, nighl. Tho horse returned homo with tho gig.
