SWIMMING
NEW BOUNDARIES APPROVED. By leleerarh—Press' Association. Christchurch, July 11. At a meeting of the Council of tiro New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association to-night, the new boundaries of Anclelimd, Wanganui, Ifnwke's Bay, and Wellington centres, its set forth in the report of the sub-committee set up to deal with them, were approved. It was decided to grant n. permit (o amateurs to lake part'in any swimming sports arranged in connection with the visit of H..M.S. New Zealand. Tho standards for tho girls', intermedial championships were fixed-as follow: —75 yards—lmin. lscc; 100 yard*—Jiuiu. 25sec.
