Thu following is the distribution uf lirilish troops throughout the world:— Armv of'the Rhine ...'. 200,000 franco and Flanders L'l 1,000 Italy, Fiume, and Soiifari 11,000 Constantinople -"000 Transcaucasia '.!J,OOO Egypt and Palestine 06,000 Mesopotamia 21,000 India ffi.HOO Siberian railway 1,-WO 055.100 Tho forces in France and Flanders are mainly occupied with the salving of the battlefields, but also act as reserves for the Army of the Rhine. Ten thousand Australian and Now Zcakud troops are included in tho number in Egypt and Palestine; and 23,000 Australian troops remain in Britain awaiting homeward transport.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable. Assn.
