COMING ON SATURDAY. The s.s. Manuka, inward from Sydney with a number of stranded New Zealandera anions her passongers, is expected to nirive in Wellington harbour on Saturday. Tho Minister of Public Health (the Hon. G, W. .Russell) said yesterday thai there wcro two doctors and two nurses ou tho ship, ho (hat there would be skilled attendance available should sickness occur among tho passengers. The ship would be inspected -by tho Port' Health Officer on arrival, and if the bill of health was clean pratique would bo granted at onco. If there were disease on board tho utmost precautione would be taken. Tho Minister added (hat there was accommodation for from 270 to 300 people at the Somes kland Quarantine Station, and for as maiiy as fiflO at the Auckland station.
