ENTERTAINMENTS

THE DANDIES AND KENNEDY COMPANY. The Town Hall Concert: Chamber will lio occupied lor a short season, commencinsr on Wednesday evening next, by "The Dandies" and "The Kennedy Company," two musical companies who havo been touring the Dominion for some considerable time past. Each of these companies presents a bill based entirely on a musical gutting, but their respective offerings are widely varied. "The Dandies," following uliiug tho lines set down bv similar companies of past seasons, invest their entertainment with many light numbers, and introduce much comedy Iftisiness in their programmes. They do not neglect the more serious order, how. ever, and several splendid specimens of standard songs and selections from grand opera are nightly presented. The Kennedy Company consists of vocalists and instrumentalists who havo attained to a certain prestige by tho merit of their individual and collective performances. Mr. Iveith Kennedy is a violinist 'of ability. Frequent changes of programme will be made during tho season. The plan opens at the Bristol next Monday morning.

BEITANNIA THEATRE. George Edgar's sporting novel "Kent, tho lighting Man," is probably ono of tho most popular novels of the last decade. It was inevitable that it should ultimately find expression in picturo form, and it is to be shown for a week's season, opening to-morrow, at tho Britannia Theatre. Q\j«i,te apart' from its sporting character—and . Bombardier Wells, the British heavy-weight champion, acts the title role—tho picture tells ft charming love-story. As a change from tho unending American melodrama this all-British production has a special attractiveness. Seats may be reserved for this special super-feature at the thea, tro. KING'S 'THEATRE. "Stolen Orders" continues to attract largo crowds nightly at tho King's Theatre, and tho singing of Mr. Len Barnes, baritone, and incidental music by tho King's Orchestra are also enjoyable features of the entertainment.
