The total yarding, with tho exception of two trucks, came by road. Prices offered were about equal to last, -week's: rates, and were fully maintained througliQut. Best bulJocks, ~£2l to <£24; medium, i£l7 10s. to ,£2O;. lighter, to JEIG; best heifers, .£l6 125.-Gd.; medium, £12 to £U. Fat sheep: Only -97. were penned. Tho demand -was 1 Jceen, throughout, and prices advanced 2s. fei.JUcdi.unv and prime, and somewhat more-for-extra. Prices-for all but light, which'vw.ero." easy, improved as the sale p/djresse^...,.Extra prime wethers, 50s. to Ms. 9d.; prim, 435. 6d. to- 503.; medium, 3Ts'."'to 405.; prime ewes, 395. 3d.; medium, 30s. to 353.; light, 28s. Pat lambs: 383 were penned. Owing to export buyers being out of the market and the_ season for butchers being about over" buyers had matters their own way, and prices declined fully ss. Some lots were almost totally neglected. The quality was mostly fair,'with a few pens of primo. Prime, 28s. to 325.; medium, 20s. to 245.; light, 14s. fid. to 18s. Gd. '
