0 New York, July 8. H3l has been delayed owing to tlio necessity for repairs to tlio motors.— Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. ■ ARRIVAL AT MINEOLA DESCEIBED. (Roc. July 10, 1.55 a.m.) New York, July 7. The New York "Times" Mineola colrespondent states that immediately upon the arrival of the British dirigible H34 she made preparations for descent and bepan to east out ballast. Tlio huge airship settled lower and lower. Commander Scott wirelessed: "All's well." Soon Major Pritchard, the first man to land, leaped off and came safely down by means of a parachute, and was warmly welcomed. Finally ropes were thrown out from the dirigible, and were seized lustily by a hundred men who waited, and tlio vessel was made fast near tho earth. The crow stepped out from the under.-carriago, and were officially welcomed by Army and Navv officers, who represented the United States Government. The crew looked remarkably .fit, clear-skinned, healthy men. They were surrounded and cheered, and taken to nearby quarters, where they were given -an opportunity to put on a chango of clothes.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
