DECISION RESERVED. The Appeal Court yesterday reserved decision in the easo oi' Bevan v. Bevan, an appeal from tho judgment of Mr. Justico Stringer. The main question involved was as to what was the proper amount: of rent payable by William and Richard Bevan as lessees of certain lands as arranged in an agreement voluntarily entered into by the parties and declared by Ilis Honour to be valid. Mr. Justice Stringer hold that tho proper amount of- rent ought to be readjusted by ascertaining the Government valuation [of the lands on June 9, 1911. His Honour also held that the plaintiffs had no rights against Robert Bovan. Tho appeal was against this decision. Mr. C. H. Treadwell appeared for William and Richard Bevan and Mr. M. Myers for Robert Bevan.
