STRANDED NEW ZEALANDERS

NO HELP FROM SEAMEN'S UNION. There is apparently no hope that the Australian Seamen's Uwon will help the stranded New Zealanders now in Sydney to got back to their homes. The Acting I'i-ime Minister has received a reply to his appeal to the union to remove "obstacles to the maiming of the iloeraki, and the reply is to the effect that the union does not wish to discuss the matter further.

The Minister sent hi; message through the New Zealand Government Agent in Sydney, and the agent 'has now replied as follows:—"I advised the secretary of the Seamen's Union ns directed. He replies members refuse further discussion regarding the departure of the Moeraki."
