CROWD RESENTS HIS PICTURE. Hy Tclecraph.—Preps Association. Auckland, July i. A display in Shortland Strcot of a picture of Count von Luckncr, commander of the See Adler, copies being offered at half-a-eiwn each, caused strong resentment. A big crowd assembled, largely composed of returned soldiers, and threats wore made to destroy tho picture, which, however, was withdrawn before the demonstration assumed a more serious shape.
