In connection with the changing of the dates for tho celebration of peace, a meeting of the Peaco Committee will bo hold in Mr. Robert Parker's room at the Djistol Piano Company's warehouse, at !Uf> a.m. to-day, to make arrangements for the thanksgiving' service to be held on Sunday afternoon. So far there has been 1.0 lime to arrange details, but it is hoped that the service can be arranged to-day, in which case full particulars will bo announced in to-mor-row's Dominion , . As to the later date, July 19, which tho British authorities have jumped to, after arranging throughout the Empire for August 3, •(, and 5, the committee has not yet had time to consider what it will do.
