DISTRESS RELIEF IN EUROPE
BRITISH SUBSIDY IN CHARITABLE EFFORTS. ■ London, June 29. The. Treasury has agreed to pay a pound for pound subsidy up to .1200,000 on charitable funds raised in Britain, for the relief of distress in European countries.
