A BIG SUM NEEDED
The Y.W.C.A.'s X' 15,000 campaign was launched on Monday last, and numerous workers are now concentrating their efforts on raising the desired amount. The Business Men's Committee, which is directing the appeal, believed that, with tho prompt and geuorous support of tlio commercial community, the campaign will be brought to a successful issue. Several large donations aggregating some hundreds of pounds, nave been promised, and will be duly acknowledged in the Press. It is confidently hoped that those who have not vet contributed will generously respond wlien called upon by tile official canvassers, or post their donations to the treasurer, P.O. Box 1071, Wellington.
