Christchurch, June' 30. \t a meeting of the Sports Protection League it was agreed that ft conference of athletic bodies be held in Wellington to discuss and come to agreement regarding tho definition of amateur. Messrs. J. S. Barrett (chairman) and Boylo dxpressed themselves as not aversp to a man receiving his wages while away on tour but not more than .his wages.
