SUDDEN DEATH.
Notification of the sudden death of lir. John Henry Goodyear, aged 53 years, was received by the Mount Cook police yesterday morning. The (deceased, who resided at No. 15 Angus Street, had suffered from pains in his chest for some years, but thought that indigestion was the cause of the trouble., No medical advico was sought, and at 3.30 o'clock yesterday morning deceased asked Mrs. tioo'dvear to bring-him a drink. When the latter 'returned she found her husband in a slate of .collapse. Dr. Line was summoned, but the .deceased 1 died beiore iiis arrival. It is understood that death was due to heart disease.
