SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The seafarer's' thoroughly enjoyed tlio treat arranged for them by the hostess, Miss MayDimock, at the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday. The performers were: M-esdames L. Walker, B. C. Child, Misses M. Diraock and Peggy Jones, and Messrs. V. Jones, L. Walker. B. C. Child,' Galloway, Boven (B.M.S. Arawa), M'Grath, Springall, and Master J. M'Gill. Mesdames Galloway and Walker were at the piano.' The men expressed . their thanks to the Wellington residents and others who make the ever-popular com. petitions possible. 'Mr. Moore, missioner, was in the chair. He moved the vote of thanks,- which was. carried with warmth. Four cx-troopers, former helpers, took part in tho entertainment. .• .
