Beealorne, a passenger from Sydney liy the Manuka, died in quarantine, totlav as a result of influenza following on other illness. The other seven patients' have practically recovered. THE MANUKA'S VOYAGE. The Hon. G. W. Russell announced yesterday that Dr. Russo',l, of Auckland, had been appointed to accompany- the Manuka on her voyage to Sydney,as the New Zealand mcdical officor responsiblo for tho health of the peoplo to he shipped as passengers and crew for the return Tireless hns been received from the s.s. Niagara that all on board are well.
