At a meeting to : night tho Auckland Rugby Union expressed resentment in re-' jinrd to the decision of the New Zealand Union to select referees for all representative matches. The union supported a similar decision made by the Wellington Union, but decided to accept tho condition in Jfnnfurly Shield matches. ■ Tho Referees' -Association passed a further vote of confidence in tho matter of the amended rules. , '■
